What is staff needed for? There is an AI!
Our AI manages the entire gameplay so that a moderator is not needed. A supervisor is required for a period of up to two minutes to prepare a game. In order to avoid vandalism, the games should be under video surveillance. We recommend that the supervisor take a look at the ongoing games at regular intervals. One supervisor can easily supervise more than five ERs at the same time. Escape rooms from other providers cannot do this.
What freedoms and restrictions do you have as a franchisee or licensee?
ExitDoors positions itself as a unique premium provider of escape games on the market. Therefore, compliance with our standards is mandatory. However, we give our franchisees and licensees a lot of entrepreneurial freedom. The design and operation of the reception area is left to the franchisee. We are happy to support you with recommendations from our experience.
What about maintenance and repairs?
Our escape rooms are purposefully designed and built to be robust. The downtimes due to defects are practically zero. During the construction phase, the operators get to know the technical background to such an extent that they can carry out simple repairs themselves. Medium and complicated repairs are carried out either with the help of telephone support or by ordering a technician.
How does the construction of an escape room work?
ExitDoors actively supports the operators in building the escape rooms. Our trusted suppliers and service providers create a 3D plan of the premises to be built, in which all the necessary details are shown. According to this plan, the room is built by the craftsmen of the so that it is made available to our technicians in a ready-to-assemble state. Our service providers take over the assembly of the individual game elements and the adjustment of the IT.

The cost of building an escape room depends heavily on the current material and service provider prices. In addition, the operator must determine which part of the construction work is to be carried out on his part. If most of the manual work is completed cost-effectively by the operator, the construction costs can be greatly reduced.
